The Lost Moon Gang, or often referred to as the L.M.4, is a serious gang. They operate as a group solely at night and are a force to be reckoned with. Most of the members have a huge bounty on their head so cops are always on a look-out for them. They are also not scared to beat down threatening figures. However, they are a somewhat friendly gang if a stranger proves themselves and shows respect. They are recognized by their symbolic black bandanas with a white crescent moon visible on the cloth, their choice of nicknames, and the fact they never carry weapons, besides Bonecrusher‘s bone. It is simply because they don’t need to rely them.
Name: Maltrough (A.K.A.: Bonecrusher)
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Species: Marrowak
Side: Native
Appearance: Bonecrusher has the appearance of any ordinary Marowak. His small frame shouldn’t fool those with the weak of mind. As all Marowak are, he is incredibly skilled in dangerous techniques revolving around the long femur bone he carries around constantly. Bonecrusher’s rather sinister looking skull that his head shape grew into during his evolution from a Cubone to a Marowak provides an excellent helmet, and making his head-butts deadly. If you look close enough you will see a few dents, scratches or cracks in it, an obvious sign of his savage fights. His eyes are a deep reddish-brown and during the night he wears the L.M.4 signature bandana.
Personality: Bonecrusher is the brains and distant combater in the L.M.4. He is the most intelligent of the bunch and is very wise, although he is quite a joker at points. He is somewhat pleasant to be around and is very loyal to his friends, always watching their back. This Marowak’s incredible skill in using his femur bone as a boomerang leaves his enemies knocked out before they knew what hit them. Although from a distance he fights best, but up close and personal he is not afraid to ram his foes silly or crack their skulls with a quick strike from his bone.
Bonecrusher is powerless if he loses his sacred bone, but he still takes chances. He is quite calm, but doesn’t ignore other’s emotions entirely. However, if he becomes enraged, this Pokemon becomes savage and is almost unstoppable, but that isn’t to say he hasn’t lost a fight before.
History: Maltrough was born into a family of hard working Marowak and Cubone. It was tradition for all members of the family to work in the mines and crack boulders open with their handy bones. They believed that a Cubone became a Marowak when they proved themselves in the mines and were then free to work whatever position they wanted in the quarries. Every family member looked forward to it and treasured it, all but one named Maltrough.
Maltrough’s father was the head miner and his older brother seemed to always be able to best him. His parents were divorced and Maltrough had no friends at the time, but he enjoyed learning things and practicing with the bonemerang and boneclub techniques, ignoring the tradition his family kept by skipping his work. His family began to shun him and he experienced peer pressure to evolve into a Marowak. Maltrough was incredibly weak as a Cubone, but he grew tough and savage when his family went so far as to fight him. That was when he evolved and proved that brawn triumphs over brain, even if he did rely on his strength and bone half the time.
Eventually he ran away after wining, giving his brother and father the hardest hits, and founded the Lost Moon Gang when he met Nick and Blade in a tight situation and eventually saved them.

Name: Nick (A.K.A.: Venom)
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Species: Nidoking
Side: Native
Appearance: Venom looks like any old Nidoking, however he is slightly larger and more muscular, not to mention he has quite a selection of scars. The insides of his large ears are two different shades of turquoise-blue and his entire body, other than his snow-white underbelly, claws, and chest, is a purple color. Huge, poisonous spikes protrude down his spinal cord and end at his tail base. As most Nidoking have, his tail is incredibly strong and a great aid during fights with its skull crushing force. The longest of his spines rests on his forehead, making his head-butts as deadly as Bonecrusher’s. During the night when they are on heists, Venom wears his signature L.M.4 bandana. During the day he wears a black leather jacket.
Personality: Venom is by far the strongest in the gang and earned the title as their brawn and the tracker. He may not be the tallest, but he is definitely the heaviest. He is a bit lacking in the brains department, but relies on the others for the info. He deals with most of the fights and causes the distractions for the gang. Venom protects his comrades with his life, but would rather punch first, never ask questions later.
His nickname fits him quite well, but Nick would never use his poison in a fight unless it was life or death. He sees that is gives him an unfair advantage and it could effect the other members if he used it, so he relies mainly on his strength and tail. Venom loves a good challenge, but is often seen sleeping when not on the job. Something that makes him unique in the gang is his incredibly acute hearing, making him ideal in tracking when combined with his other senses.
History: Nick grew up with a peaceful, well-mannered family that expected him to live up to their standards. He didn’t mind when he was little, but he eventually met Sullivan. Sullivan wasn’t a very good role model when they grew older, as he often got into fights and stole things. However, Nick grew to like this lifestyle and began falling away from his family.
They grew upset and troubled when they found out the way their son was behaving. The family debated over a cure and when Nick evolved into a Nidorino after a vicious fight, they thought they had found the answer. They were going to force Nick to marry a rich, snobby Nidorina because they thought he needed to love someone and that the pair were a perfect match.
However, they were almost polar opposites and they could never get along. Nick eventually evolved into a Nidoking after he went on a rampage due to his anger, and ran away with his partner in crime, Blade, who happily obliged. During a rather serious fight where the pair was outnumbered in the back alley streets, their foes stayed back at a distance and almost constantly avoided their attacks. Maltrough eventually found them and scared the group of his clattering bones, his morbid appearance in the shadows, and his deadly femur bone. It was then the L.M.4 formed with the Marowak’s prodding.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Sullivan (A.K.A.: Blade)
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Species: Scyther
Side: Native
Appearance: Being a Native, Blade is no different from any other Scyther besides his slightly darker skin. He resembles a human-sized, dark-green praying mantis, darker than a normal Scyther although it can be barely noticeable. A pair of two cream-colored wings each sprout from his back and allow him to fly on rare occasions. Three claws protrude from each of his broad feet and his forearms resemble long blades. These blades are said to have the power to slice through logs in a single blow. Oddly enough, his head looks more reptilian than an insect. Like every other member of the L.M.4, Blade wears the signature black bandana at night.
Personality: Blade is incredibly swift and his abilities surpass that of a ninja, however the two have a lot in common. He is the stealth, back-up, and one of the look-outs for the gang. He talks very fast so it is hard for others to keep up with him, but he is known to move so fast its seems like he teleports. Blade is a back-up for Venom due to his dangerous scythe-like forearms.
Blade is definitely the stealthiest of the gang and performs the hardest field work. A rumor about him is known; it says that he has never been detected on security systems. Although Blade hates to admit it, it is terribly false. He’s had his handful of screw-ups. Personality wise, this Scyther is always rearing to go and quite stubborn.
History: Sullivan grew up with a Mob boss for a father, so it was only natural for the Scyther to get into serious trouble. His father was very good to him, and Sullivan never knew his mother so it was the only Pokemon he could look up to. His father trained him in the art of fighting and thievery, and eventually Sullivan dragged Nick into it.
Nick was his only real friend and in school they were the little rebels. It was an odd pair, yes, but neither ever complained. When he and Nick ran away to try and form a gang, the Scyther learned of his father’s demise. Strangely, his father actually supported him running away and Sullivan was crushed. He eventually learned of who committed the crime and challenged them with Nick at his side.
He soon regretted it and found themselves being bombarded by attacks from their distant foes, but they soon saw themselves escape it when Maltrough showed up. The pair of Pokemon gave up the idea of forming a gang, but with Maltrough’s prodding they finally agreed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Selena (A.K.A. Shadow)
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Species: Skarmory
Side: Mix
Appearance: Shadow is a very unique Pokemon and is far from the appearance of an ordinary Skarmory. She is significantly darker than the regular steel-gray hue she should have, making her look a metallic black. In the right light at special angles she can look white due to the shine of her metallic feathers. Underneath the sheaths that conceal her wings, the feathers are an emerald green instead of the normal metallic red. That green color matches her eyes which a normal Skarmory’s should be a golden yellow. Shadow’s colors are what you would think a witch’s would equal; the emerald green and jet-black. It provides excellent cover during the night, blinding her victims as they try to make out what Pokemon she is by the sparkling green wings and jet-black body. She is no different from her gang-mates and wears the signature bandana at night.
Personality: Shadow is the one who deals with the skies, be it aerial foes, or airborne security. She also serves as a look-out, and is even better than Blade in that department. She enjoys the life that the gang provides for her, even if it means living on the streets. Of course the gang steals tons of money, but Shadow never excepts it. She enjoys thieving and that’s all that matters for her; she doesn’t have to be paid for having fun.
She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but can become quite ill-tempered. Being the only female in the group and the youngest she takes pride in her duty that she serves. During the day she appears timid, but at night her temper can flare and her beak can snap left and right, not even afraid of death itself. She naturally hates heat, being a Steel-type, and craves the frosty moonlight. The gang believes that is why she can be so vicious in the evenings during heists.
History: Selena had the boring life of the gang with a strict, overworked mother. Her parents divorced at an early age so her mother had to work overtime to keep food on the table. They lived in a stuffy apartment and the Skarmory almost never saw her mother. Given time to herself she began to teach herself how to fly since her mother never had the time to teach her and her when her parents were still together Selena was too young.
After many fruitless attempts she started to give up, but when she saw a Pidgeot flying at full speed through a city on her television screen she felt an immense amount of inspiration. After a lot of practice she began to get the hang of her wings and actually left the house to go to school when her mother ordered her to. There she was teased and picked on by her classmates for her odd coloration and she grew very quiet and timid. Eventually she met the Lost Moon Gang and found that they had a lot in common, and that the life of a thief suited her. Although not one of the original members, she fit right in and proved herself invaluable to the gang.
