It was pretty calm out on the icy grounds of Mount Blizzard, the snow was falling softly on the white ground that had a snow-capped tree here and there but they were a little rarer at the top as they could'd possibly take it, but some Pokemon could, and the one of the few was a Weavile as it just sat on a boulder and gazed at the veiw infront of her.
The clouds may have been gray at the top making it seem a little dull. but at the bottem where Nalani was gazing upon looked quite nice as the snow just softly drifted down giving a calm and quiet mood to anyone who gazed upon it. Beautiful... just beautiful... she said in her mind as she then layed back a little bit as a little bit of snow drifted onto her violet fur.

Much higher up from where the Weavile was lying, at the very peak of the great ice mountain the snow fell down onto an icy tundra of black and white, the dark clouds looming above eclipsing out all but the faintest sunlight. Rows of icy pokemon statues, all of them extremely lifelike with the same expression of terror on their faces lined a lonely path leading up to a secluded cave. Icicles hanging from it's ceiling like teeth, making it look like the maw of some great beast.
From deep within the darkness of the cave there was suddenly a shimmer of light as a great bird with blue plumage stepped outside into the snow, it's eyes gleaming in the faint light. Noiselessly it trotted slowly across the barren plain as quietly as the touch of snow, stopping at the cliff edge and looking down over it's icy kingdom. Closing it's eyes it drunk in the peaceful solitude of Mt Blizzard, the only sound that of the wind.
Beautiful... just beautiful... Articuno couldn't help but nod, only realizing a second later that the thought had not been his own. Peering down at the blank expanse of white below, it did not take him long to spot the one who's thoughts he had picked up accidentally via his Mind Reader move. The pokemon was a Weavile, lying down in a bed of snow looking up at the sky. Articuno closed his eyes again, like him she belonged here, she understood the nature of ice.
Spreading his wings, Articuno pulled back his head and opened his beak, a shrieking, haunting cry like the howl of the winter wind echoing down from his perch at the peak of the mountain down to the Weavile, the sky lighting up with a brilliant Aurora. Moving back into a relaxed position he looked back down at the Weavile, the corners of his beak moving up slightly, which for Articuno was equivalent to a smile. Indeed it is, beautiful. He said back to her telepathically.

Nalani was beginning to fall asleep since the lands around her were so calm and quiet, or at least that's what she thought. She suddenly heard the sound of howling winds that was to be heard when massive blizzards were to come. She quickly shot opened her eyes to see the winds looked and as well felt calm, she then looked to her sides but still, there was absolutely nothing.
She shrugged as she began to close her eyes again, thinking that it was possibly her imagination going crazy or something. That was until she heard through her mind echo, Indeed it is, beautiful. She quickly stood up and seperated her claws as she began to look arounfd the area, she knew someone was here, but didn't know who exactly. "Who's pulling tricks in my head huh? a Phsyic Pokemon!? Show yourself coward! She yelled out as she growled in the back of her throat. Carlos, if this is you then you are SO dead when I get back home. She muttered in her mind as her eyes shifted from one place to another.

Articuno looked down at the Weavile, amused by the baffled way she looked around for him, expecting that it was one of her friends playing a prank on her. No, I am not Carlos He told her, projecting his clear piercing voice into her mind. I am the wind, I am the Ice, I am the snow. He went on, the aurora he had made in the sky beginning to dim.
I am all around you, and yet I am not. he cooed softly, the clouds in the sky beginning to grow darker and the amount of snow falling increasing. I wished to thank you for your earlier compliment. I have no intention of harming one of my own brethren. You may relax.

Nalani listened to what this mysterious Pokemon had to say and began to calm down a little bit knowing that this Pokemon obviously didn't exactly want to hurt her in any matter, yet she was still confused on why this Pokemon wasn't showing itself, but she obviously knew it was a Ice Pokemon that was talking to her.
She then sat down on the Boulder that she was before laying down on but she still looked around to see if there was anything or anyone around, but still nothing but the dark clouds and the increase in snowfall. Alright, I know your not going to hurt me, but if you don't mind me asking you since I know your some sort of Ice-type Pokemon, why don't you just show yourself to me? I mean as long as I know your not here to abuse me in any matter I won't hurt ya either. Or is it because you're one of those Timid Pokemon that doesn't like to show their faces to anyone they don't know? She asked in her mind politely to see if this guy would respond back to her.

Articuno looked down at the Weavile with a frown, feeling more than a touch of irritation at being described as timid. However the Weavile herself had no way of knowing who he was, so he grudgingly decided to let it slide, athough his anger did cause a sharp drop in temperature.
There was a lengthy pause while he considered, during which time the black snow clouds began to grow larger, and the wind began to howl. So be it. He whispered finnaly. As a fellow Ice type I will honour your request. Spreading his wings once more, Articuno began to glide down from the mountaintop towards Nalani, his long tail streaming out behind him, leaving a trail of sparkling snow where his wings had frozen the moisture in the air.
Landing in front of the Weavile with a crunch as he hit the snow, Articuno folded back his wings and looked down at her through his shining red eyes with a serious expression. "I am Articuno. The warder of Ice." He declared in a voice like the sound of ice shattering, his radiant blue plumage shining like a star in the growing darkness.

For a long while Nalani could hear nothing from the other Pokemon, it either just didn't want to speak with her anymore or it was thinking for a minute, either way she was getting bored of waiting for this guy to talk to her but still there were no sounds to be heard of besides the howling winds of the mountain. "Whatever..." She mumbled out of her lips as she began to lay down again knowing that she should be heading out pretty soon since the winds and snow was increasing.
But as she began closing her eyes she heard in her head So be it. came the same voice in a whisper-like manner. As a fellow Ice type I will honor your request. She stood up again and shook off the snow off her clothings and her head knowing that he was going to come.
But she never expected an actual Legendary Pokemon to come before her, and she never actually thought it would ever speak to her like an ordinary Pokemon would, and even though she tried her best not to look surprised her heart just kept on racing and pounding out of her chest, she was so afraid yet felt kind of honored that this majestic Pokemon had decided to reveal himself to her. Thank you... She said to him while giving him a small bow but then stood up again and backed off a little bit.

Articuno held his head up high and stared down at the Weavile, watching her stare up at him in awe with a stern expression. "Don't move." He said warningly as Nalani began to back away. "You must promise never to tell anyone about me. Unless you swear that to me right now then I cannot allow you to leave this mountain." Articuno crooned, narrowing his eyes to slits as he waited for her response.

Nalani quiver a little bit in fear when Articuno told her to not move and began telling her in a warning tone that she was to never speak of him to anyone else. She just raised a brow as she put one of her clwas on her hips and grinned a little bit, of course he knew the rankings in his popularity and knew he would be in BIG trouble if anyone found out he was here.
"Pfft, What do ya think I am a blabber mouth? She asked him as she leaned her back a little more as she talked to the ice bird. "Look, my brother has a huge price on his head and I never go around telling my brother is a theif, it'll be the same with you, you're one of a kind and because of that seeing you is a very low chance."
She then went to stand up on the nearby boulder to make herself a little bit taller, but that wasn't a problem since she was only 2 feet shorter than him. "Of course your secret is safe with me! Just because your a Legendary it doesn't mean you like popularity." She said with a smile on her face as she stared at Articuno seeing if what she said could possibly make it alright to let her go.

Articuno remained immobile throughout Nalani's speech, not moving a muscle and continuing to stare at her with his piercing red eyes. Deciding whether or not to trust her. After several minutes he finally blinked, the dark clouds beginning to grow thinner and the winds dying down, the tundra once again returning to it's tranquil state. "Alright." He said finally, stretching his wings. "I will trust you." He told her in a quiet, gentle voice.
The snow fell down quietly on the ground between the two ice pokemon, the weather having returned to how it had been when Nalani had first arrived. Flapping his wings, Articuno rose up into the air, hovering a few meters above Nalani, canceling out the boost the boulder had given her. "You are free to come and go as you wish. I do not mind your presence here." He informed her, slowly rising up higher into the air, the flurry of snowflakes falling from his wings beginning to mask him from Nalani's view. If there is nothing else then... He asked her in a telepathic whisper, beginning to head back to his roost atop the mountain.

Nalani just watched Articuno as the majestic blue bird flew up high in the air until he was hidden away in the grayish clouds above. She let out a small grin as she looked back at the downside of the long and steep mountain. Articuno, if you can still read my mind, you have no worries with me, I always have been and always will be a very trusting friend. She said before she started to climb down the massive cold wasteland and back to the city.
