Bathed under frosty moonlight padded a beautiful Ninetales. A golden necklace clanked against her neck with each forward thrust from one of the paws, glinting off the dim light. Her red eyes seemed to glow from the shadows she was shrouded in, giving her an ominous appearance.
The Ninetales was called Ruby, once a rich and regal creature. She ran away from that life not so long ago from a broken heart. As frequently as she could, Ruby set off for a walk under the light of the moon, taking in the dark scenery of the central park.
Sadness dulled her intelligent, emotional eyes, and nine, long, flowing tails streamed out behind her. She was a beautiful Pokemon, but was lost in her mourning from that terrible broken heart. Stars dotted throughout the indigo sky with numbers in the trillions, glittering and mesmerizing.
Moonlight toyed with her creamy, thick fur as she walked. The dim light that could break through the cover of treetops and spill out onto the lone trail created splotches of both light and shadows. It calmed the quiet female's troubled mind, creating a tranquil, peaceful atmosphere all around her.

Just a little farther away from where the glorious Ninetails as she was walking down a path and behind some trees and shrubs was a small group of flowers with a tiny hedge in the middle, or was it even a hedge? For some reason it moved around a little bit yet there was barely a breeze brewing around, but then a small white head poked out and looked around. Yes it was Shaymin and he had fallen asleep in Central Park.
He looked upwards with his small, beady-black eyes and saw the world had gotten dark with only the natural light of the stars to shine upon the dark ground. "Uh oh, looks like my quick little nap turned into a long and deep sleep." He said quietly to himself just before he began hearing foot-steps and they became comming closure as well. And now an even bigger uh oh, someone is comming.
He said to himself before his two pink flowers began to glow which then the light engulfed is whole body, he then jumped out of the bushes and but he wasn't a small grass-back hedgehog anymore, instead he was now a tall and majestic deer-like creature as he stood there all proud-like.
He then looked to his side and saw a beautiful Ninetails standing there, yet knowing he looked around her age or possibly even younger he just grinned as he faced forwad. "Well hello there, what brings a damsel like you out this late at night eh?" He asked with a bit of a chuckle at the end but he tried not to scare her away from him.

As Shaymin's voice entered her thoughts, the Ninetales leapt back in a startled stance, gleaming eyes wide. She wasn't expecting to meet anyone here. Ruby's eyes became focussed on the deer-like Pokemon and her lips drew back as she bared her fangs, but only for a moment.
Never before had the female seen such a Pokemon, and for that reason alone she stopped her physical display of aggression to ponder the thought of such a creature. "What kind of Pokemon are you?" She inquired with a puzzled ruby-red gaze. Her eyes told of her confusion, but her stance told of her suspicion.

Shaymin's face turned from a grin to a raised brow as he watched the Ninetails getting into a aggresive position. Easy Shaymin, she's probably startled by your sudden appearance. He said to himself as he then noticed the Ninetails beginning to calm down but then ask what kind of Pokemon he was.
Shaymin just grinned a little as he stood up a little taller as he puffed out his chest out a little bit. "Well..." He said before he he took a deep breath of air. "Im a very rare kind of Pokemon called a Glideer, Im a Flying and a Grass type Pokemon. But that ain't important. He said as he moved his antler-like wings a little bit as he kept on staring at the Ninetails.

The golden necklace adorned with the emerald, sapphire, and ruby swayed back and forth slightly as the wind picked up force. Ruby held her gaze on the Pokemon, the species not at all ringing a bell.
A low rumble sounded from her throat as her suspicion grew. Something about this Pokemon was quite odd and the Ninetales didn't need her instincts to tell her that. Ruby-red eyes glinted off the cold moonlight that streamed down from the moon, the dim light dying her creamy pelt a silver. It gave her an ominous aura as she might as well have appeared calm.

Shaymin just gazed at her for a short period of time as he looked at all features of the Ninetails not too far from him, but he stared more at the necklace but it only had a Ruby, Saphire and Emerald for its gems, their wasn't anything that looked like a Meteorite.
He sighed as he knew he was getting a little bit bored not doing anything what so ever and he even noticed this when he saw his hoof-like paws tapping on the pavement below him. He looked back at the Ninetails again and shrugged a little. "Well, it's getting a little bit boring here just standing around like an old post that barely has any meaning, so if you're done asking questions Im gonna leave now." He said as he turned around and began walking away from the Ninetails.

The Ninetales stayed where she was, not moving the slightest inch. Well, all except her eyes. With a dangerously narrowed gaze the quiet Ninetale's ruby-red eyes slowly followed his every move. A cruel plan was twisting in the depths of her mind.
Ruby would let the odd creature run off and do whatever it was he would be doing, and she would follow him as silently and stealthily as a Ninetales could possibly be. Maybe then her suspicion and curiousity could be quenched.

Shaymin was completely unaware of the Ninetails that was following him from a little far back, he was more focused on the natural beauty of the lands, which it almost looked like it was un-touched by this land, except for the long pavement pathway of course but that was almost nothing compared to what the humans have done to the continents and other islands, some places were completely destroyed because of then.
Shaymin sighed just a little bit of the thought of what Humans did to some places that he had once called home, he would always do his best to protect the lands, but the humans were always far to much for him to take on so he would flee often. But he knew Humans weren't exactly very bright creatures and he and other Pokemon had inhabited far longer than their race has existed.
He sighed again as he swayed his head from one side to another. "Poor humans, they're always have been a step behind our kind now haven't they?" He said to himself in a quiet manner as he still walked across the pavement path.

The Ninetales sighed as she readily concealed herself in the cover of a shadow behind a large oak tree. Its branches swayed and its leaves danced in the rolling winds. It gave a peaceful aura to the neatly decorated park.
Still, Ruby looked on from her dark shroud, eyeing the Legendary Pokemon with a suspicious ruby-red gaze. Her nine tails were neatly wrapped around her body and pressed against her so they would not attract any attention.
She became restless after a minute of this and watched as Shaymin mumbled something. Quickly she jumped a little ways forward to catch the quiet words, but ended up stepping on a stick in her rushed process. Ruby let out a silent hiss and hoped that the loud snap wouldn't give her away.

Shaymin stopped when he heard a twig snap and possibly even a small hiss as well and moved his head around to see if he could possibly find this stalker but then saw a flicker of red fur, yet he pretended like he never saw it, he then began walking back int the same direction again. But you have to remember he is never alone when it comes to forested areas like these.
He closed his eyes for a moment and in his mind he let out the words, Forces of nature of this planet, please assist me in finding this Pokemon who seems to be following me in hiding. He said in his mind hoping the wildlife here would hear his request and capture this follower.

The Ninetales looked on as he closed his eyes and pulled her lips back in a silent snarl. 'Dangit!' She mentally kicked herslef in the head and knew that he must have heard her. That or Shaymin was deaf, which she knew full well how false that was. Maybe she shouldn't have been so suspicious...
With silent paws Ruby pressed herself to the back of the oak, its rough bark digging into her fur. Hopefully the cover of shade would shield her before his view, but the shining glimmer from the moonlight refelecting off her necklace would not cease.

Shaymin opened his eyes again to see that absolutely nothing had happened. Maybe it only works when Im my true self... He said with a sigh and just before he when off again a shine went and hit his eye for a moment or two but disappeared. He looked around again and found the shimmering object which looked exactly like the one the Ninetails had.
He just narrowed his eyes and his big antler-like wings pushed him off the ground and floated over towards the tree and there he could see the image of the Ninetails there by the trunk of the tree. "Alright miss, what do you want with me huh? Do you want some money or something? Or were you hired to stalk me around huh?" His voice only had a small hint of anger s he spoke out to her.

If she could, Ruby would have smacked herself for being so stupid. Why couldn't she have just believed the Pokemon? She groaned as he discovered her presence, but felt inwardly scared of the Pokemon as he became angry. Maybe it was just that thing about Legendaries, known or unknown.
"Uh... I-I," She stumbled as she was unable to find the right words. It wasn't like Ruby was going to tell him that she was so suspicious of him that she decided to stalk him. So, she did the next worst thing; ran. That's right, the timid Ninetales turned tail and ran as fast as her fox-like frame could carry her. It didn't matter where she went, that was until she tripped and fell into a pound.
Her head broke the surface of the frosty water, gasping for air. Now, she was just plain humiliated.

Shaymin just narrowed his eyes even more when he saw that the Ninetails began running away from him and began to give chase to her, only to soon find out that the luxurious-looking Ninetails had fallen into a small pond and wreaking her whole body of fur up. He sighed a little bit knowing it was sort of his fault that she was in there, but she wasn't following him then their wouldn't be any of this madness going on right now.
He looked over at one of the trees and saw a long and strong vine, quickly he wrapped it around his body and looked over at the Ninetils again. "Here, catch!" He hollered out as he tossed the vine over to her and waited to help her out of the pond water knowing that her coat was possibly dragging her down since it was big and all wet.

She struggled for air as her thick fur began dragging her down in the frosty water. Being a fire-type she hated water, but without her thick pelt, which was making it difficult for her to swim, the Ninetales would have been cold to the bone.
As best as she could manage she swam with churning limbs to the vine, clamping her jaws onto the plant in relief. What a great night; stalking a Pokemon and being half-drowned was always a favorite past time for Pokemon.
She ceased her struggle for only a moment, quite surprised by how deep the pool of water was. Ruby wondered how she could get herself into these kinds of predicaments.
