Name: Master Mawashi Geri
Age: 49
Gender: Male
Species: Hitmonlee
Side: Native
Appearance: Master Mawashi has the same features of most Hitmonlee; He has three-fingered hands and three claw-like toes, segmented arms and legs and two almond-shaped eyes with black rings around them. However, his skin is a darker shade of yellowish brown, almost ocre, and the segments on his arms and legs are a bright orange instead of the usual creamy beige. The only clothing he usually wears is a yellow sash looped over his left shoulder and down to his right hip, with a badge bearing the symbol of his dojo (a fist surrounded by a flaming wheel) attached to the upper half.
Personality: Master Mawashi is very patient and relaxed, always going about his business at a pace that most others find painfully slow, only speeding up if the matter is important. He has a great respect for all living things and his strong sense of compassion drives him to selflessly help out any he meets who are suffering, often going on extended fasts so that he may help feed others, often endangering his own life and earning a harsh scolding from his pupil afterwards.
The only time Mawashi acts violently is when he is in training his pupil or whenever he sees oppression, in which cases he will rise to the defense of the oppressed pokemon immediately, providing that they have done nothing wrong to deserve their oppression.
History: Like many fighting pokemon, Mawashi found himself drawn to martial arts at a very young age, leaving home at the age of 10 along with his younger brother, Shin, to seek training. Finding a teacher by the name of master Kapo, a Hitmontop who took on the two young Tyrogue as his pupils. As both Mawashi and Shin grew stronger, it was clear that there was a growing divide between both of their fighting styles, Mawashi was growing ever more violent, while his brother seemed to focus on meditation and spent large amounts of time far away from the dojo, and a rift began to grow between the two brothers.
Eventually the rift turned into a fierce rivalry as the date for a martial arts tournament drew ever closer. The brothers began to argue, and inevitably it eventually came to blows. They both fought each other fiercely, but in the end Mawashi was the stronger, and blinded by the desire to fight he dealt Shin a severe blow that broke several ribs, and robbed his brother of any chance of fighting in the upcoming tournament. Mortified by what he had done, Mawashi chose not to enter the tournament himself and left the dojo, going on a journey of enlightenment in hopes of redeeming himself for his terrible mistake.
While on his travels he met Choku, who was at that time an orphan roaming the streets of a desert town. Taking pity on Choku and recognizing his great potential, he agreed to train the boy as his student and took him to Licentia Island to begin his training.

Name: Choku Tsuki
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Species: Machop
Side: Native
Appearance: Choko looks much like any regular Machop, he is a small humanoid with a short tail, disproportionately large arms for his small body size and two toe-less feet. Unlike other Machop however he only has one fin on his head as opposed to three, although it is larger, and Choku has been sharpening it's edge, making it look more like a sharks dorsal fin. His skin is a dark, dull shade of grey, and he wears around him the same yellow sash and badge as his master, along with two red weighted armbands around his upper arms.
Personality: Choku is young and excitable, very eager to see the world and learn more about it's mysteries. He is very obedient and sees his master more like a father than a teacher, his real father having died a long time ago. For this reason he is also very protective of his master, and tries to make him proud whenever possible, though sometimes this can lead to him showing off in front of others. Like his master, Choku as a strong sense of right and wrong, and cannot resist rushing into action whenever an innocent pokemon is threatened.
History: Choku was an orphan prior to his chance meeting with Master Mawashi, his mother and father having died when he was 6 trying to defeat a local gang who were terrorizing the desert town they lived in at that time. Having nowhere else to stay, he was forced to enter a life as a thief, stealing in order to survive. After 8 more years of tough life on the streets, Choku was surprised when one day a stranger came up to him and offered him his food, which he gladly accepted. This stranger happened to be Master Mawashi, and Choku was offered a position as his pupil, which he happily accepted, his new master taking him to Licentia Island for training soon after. They have been living there ever since.
